Kenya is a Baltimore native but has lived in Harrisburg for almost ten years. She has also been a truck driver for just as long. When she’s not wasting away at home in front of her video games, she’s quietly plotting to take over the world. She loves to volunteer and have fun but mostly she enjoys jumping out of every box that anyone puts her in and her greatest passion is bringing joy to others in their darkest days even if all they need is a smile

People and culture
Our people are what make Hyena Skits special.
We believe great comedy comes from bringing together people with different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. Some of our performers arrive with years of stage experience. Others step into a rehearsal room for the very first time. What matters most is a willingness to learn, collaborate, and support one another.
Hyena Skits is committed to creating opportunities for emerging talent. Through workshops, coaching, mentorship, and live performance opportunities, we help writers, actors, improvisers, filmmakers, and creatives develop their skills while building confidence on and off the stage.
We are proud to foster an environment where every voice matters. Our team works together to create original comedy, take creative risks, and challenge one another to grow. Whether performing in front of a live audience, creating new sketches, or teaching the next generation of artists, we believe that strong communities are built when people are given the chance to be seen, heard, and valued.
At Hyena Skits, we don't just create comedy. We create opportunities, develop talent, and build a creative community that continues to grow with every show.
